Optional is the legendary 5.7-liter MDS V8 engine paired with a six-speed automatic. This engine delivers 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The new 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT 8 packs a new 6.4-liter V8 engine with 470 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. EPA fuel economy is rated at 12 mpg city and 18 mpg highway.
